SectorOne was appointed to oversee the refit of the Authority’s entranceway and staircase into the building in Leonard Isitt Drive.
Leading architects Creative Spaces designed a stunning overall effect with clever use of lighting, colour, and unusual design materials. We were responsible for coordinating the numerous sub-trades – which included some very ‘specialised specialists’.
One of the tasks, for instance, was to engage a sign-writer skilled in using a high-speed laser water cutter to complete the 3-storey high koru wall design, made from a 12 mm fabric panel. During the six-week project, we were also responsible for keeping the building’s main stairwell operational at all times, and ensuring fire egress.
“We found working with SectorOne on this project very easy, everything ran smoothly and the finished product was delivered to the high standard expected.”

Associate Director, Creative Spaces
“Having worked with SectorOne before, I knew they’d be capable of managing a high-spec job like this. There were a lot of sub-trades to organise, so it needed someone who’d keep a good eye on the ball.”
